The horizon should be straight imo.

The sky is a bit dull and I would have tried this a day with blue sky and puffy clouds!

the sky is indeed a bit gray, but it was a very cloudy and gray day, but i like the feeling it gives.

the spray of the wave is what i like more what makes it different.

Indeed the first impression is that the horizon is tilted.
I might be wrong though as there is a natural mountain slope I guess on the horizon which makes the initial view think of tilt.

The "spray"ich look is indeed very nicely captured... but again a blue sky (compare to Madanapale's similar shots) and you would definitely have a highter wow feeling to this composition.

+ my first though on moving the lighthouse lol

My second visit to this shot !! Almost hold myself back before writing my C&C !! Reason I am still not sure if the colors are actually helping the shot or working against it !!!
Right now i am of opinion that the yellowish tint on the grey clouds & the greens in the background is not working for it !! Also slightly more contrast might benifit the waves !! +9

Good image, wish that I could see more of the bottom of the image where the waves are breaking !
and to me the lighthouse is slightly tilted to the right, but this may be an optical illusion caused by the sloping background.. only way to know for sure about the lighthouse is to run a straight line through it in the middle(top to bottom) and zoom in, if both sides are not the same then its not straight !

Good image overall.. But i would have considered moving to the left and shooting it without the beach and houses in the background ! Lighthouses to me spell damger and warning, but the background says SUN SEA AND holidays...

yeah !!!! Well Pooh if U know him well U will realize that the horizons are still his 2nd favorite !! No 1 is his freakness for getting the shots SHARP !!
I was his adoptee in the adaptation thread & have load of shot rejected for not being sharp enough !!!
Lets Damn him !!!

That's a great angle, i Think you got a good color, but in my opinion a bit of contrast gives more feeling to the themme
